Yesterday, The Muse posted about an upcoming action film,
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
. It features a female assassin played by Taraji P. Henson. An ass-kicking action movie starring a woman of color? YES, PLEASE! But wait, there’s more! Looks like our girl Mary just might be an Oppo. The 2-minute trailer features snippets of her driving a Maserati Quattroporte and a Ferrari 550.
Can’t wait until 2018!
h/t to LBC and kac for helping me ID a very blurry Ferrari.

I will gladly pay money to watch someone who ISN’T a Cis, White, Male (and probable misogynist) kick some ass. Also, she was super awesome in Person of Interest. Which is a seriously fantastic show. Like really, go watch it all. Right Now.
This is why, apart from the cars, I am fan of the F&F franchise; it’s not just white people being bad-asses. The series isn’t perfect. But they do at least have a diverse cast. This planet isn’t populated by only white people- much as some in the US would not care to admit.

Also: This is now a post your favorite non-white-male badass movie thread:
Pretty much my favorite revenge flick. Old Boy gets all the fame, but this is better in my opinion. Not least because (spoiler alert) there isn’t any incest.

As one of the biggest Person of Interest fans, Taraji P. Henson is always on my radar and I loved Hidden Figures. Proud Mary is my one of my most hyped films of 2018.
